Danke Schoen, meine Schwester! Thank you for helping me with the correct spelling. I did have 1 dictionary and a few German language learning grammer books but they went missing when I moved here. I even lost my Mandarin Chinese Dictionary, and other books.... I need to get another German/English dictionary, but what helps me learn to Speak it correctly, is to spell the words out on paper, with my phonetical system. That is the way I have learned how to overcome my learning challenge and be able to learn speaking other languages. I really wasn't "Supposed to be albe to" learn other languages, but I am and am overcoming my learning challenges a little at a time.
I do know that you are right about the typed communication, though. I will need to learn proper spelling, so I can communicate with you, a little in German. It is sad that the German-side of my family Ancestors, never passed down the German language, after coming to America....Especially since German seems to be the next to hardest language for me to learn to speak...It's the hard & soft sounds that I get confused with, and have trouble making with word. Like when trying to learn Mandarin Chinese, the FIVE Tones they use with words, is very difficult. Some words, like the numbers are easy to learn how to Read, Write and Say, for me...But other words, not so easy....I try though. I so hope that my efforts, at least count for something. I use to love listening to Iris Lebede, speak in German, at school. She was one of my best friends in 8th grade, who was an exchange student from outside of Frankfurt Germany. I think that is how you spell it. Maybe one day I will learn. Mostly my main focus right now is learning more Russian, now that I finally found all my Russian Language Learning Resources put up in the back Library, and learn Greek and Mongolian. I will check at Barns & Nobel for the German/English Dictionary, though.
Talk to you later.
Love Your Sister, Eagle/Stacey
