To me, to think about evolution is to think about the signature used by Trinity. :) To get proof about anything religious I go to the "manuel" the Bible. If you choose to not believe it(the Bible) than I don't know what to say. I am not a Bible scholar. :( The truth we see in everything around us. Nature, animals, Bible predictions that come true all the time. Scientists and athiests try to disprove it all the time and only fail. I find that cool! Play chess with God. That is like asking me to sing and sound good at the same time.

He was born a Jew, but his teachings and the way he lived is closer to the Essenes of his time. It is also believed that he studied Buddhism and Hinduism. BTW Nicholas Roerich that Russian painter had a lot to do with bringing this information into light. In his travels to Tibet he found ancient manuscripts in which Jesus is mentioned as having being there. Of course after this information got out the Vatican made sure that nobody finds out about it.

By the way,Roerich wasn't the only one who got to know that.A Russian scientist Ernst Muldashev(living nowadays) held 2 expeditions to Tibet where he made some of his major researches and yes,it's true that in their ancient manuscripts it's mentioned that Jesus was in Tibet and studied there. And where do you folks think he got those amazing skills? Not from the skies.

OMG - there's a religious statement - but it applies here!

Mama San: "Jesus was a jew!"

I know! I read the Bible.

I don't know where you people got your education from, but it doesn't matter. What you must know is this: take a look around your house - everything you see (I'm speaking to majority of you) was manufactured in a factory where the machines were built due to engineers, who got their education based on science.

I NEVER said that I "denied" the possibility of creationism. You all say: 'How about taking a look at OUR side of the view?' "You" however DO NOT want to even consider the theories of scientists who devote their lives to researching something. It is a shame that some of you cannot bring yourself to look at two sides of the story, but I frankly do not care much for the beliefs that you have as it is your personal 'business' as the saying goes.

Jalu: "walking in circles and reaching no conclusion is ... evolution?."

Were you trying to be funny in your own sort of way? I was just giving you a heads-up on the research that has been going on. By asking such question you make it sound like all the hard work that people put into their studies is useless and hold no merit. I as you, do not care for the origins of human kind (but I like to search for the truth), but I do care about where I come from (I am proud to be Russian, and I am proud to hold a citizenship of the greatest country on Earth - Canada!).

Had a thought the other day - that for the world to have true peace, all humankind, from all walks of life, all religions, all countries, all "tribes" will have to all stop fighting, period. The "tribal mentality" of humankind has and is creating destruction across the globe. The idea of "my religion is better than your religion", or "my tribe is superior to your tribe", or "I want your land because a book told me to take it" ... all this sort of separatness and lack of unity and compassion will need to be put to rest if there is to be true peace on earth. Just a thought while working in the garden ...

That's what I've been talking about. We're different but yet we're from one flesh and blood and no other difference should cause these stupid wars against each other. This is foolish beyond all.

Yudansha, I waited to respond. To find the right words. Other peoples toes are too easy to find. I wanted to share something from my heart, if permitted.:) It is good to hear everyones "point of view." It helps to understand better where each of us is coming from. That doesn't mean we "have to" embrace it; just understand how they think.:) Ya know, science and technology have come a long way the last 100 years. It has proved and disproved many things. Way of life has also been made easier. Also, everyone has built in them the need to find the "truth." A need to find the meaning to life, God, to everything. We are always trying to find answers.?? Some people here, including I have found what we were searching for to finish the puzzle. I have found the missing piece in my life. Jesus Christ. We can accept what He did for us and His word(the Bible) or reject it. Like Adam and Eve we were given the right to choose. God doesn't want to force us to choose him, but to come of our own free will; wholeheartedly. There are many paths. Which one will each of us choose? John 14:6 and Psalms 119:105 According to the Bible, Jesus only has one path. This is two cents from my heart.:) A friend Julie

I have a T-shirt that says " I'm not opinionated, I'm just always right!" My father warned my husband before we married. His parents failed to warn me about the same!:D AH, I know I am not always right. No one likes to be wrong either. Oh well. I think everyone enjoys giving their two cents. LOOK OUT! Tora is going to bank on us!:D(Got that penny jar ready?"

Do I detect anger here? "Don't be a bad guy...be a nice guy." I will still like you even though we do not see eye to eye.:) Your an OK dude. We just don't agree.:) Please do not bully people into believing what you do. That is how you are coming across. Itching for a fight. Just share your thoughts, ideas, and beliefs and let people decide for themselves if they agree with you or not. I think that is what everyone tries to do here, as it should be. Squashing ones beliefs here because they differ is not fair.:( That is my two cents! (do not ask me to put them where the sun don't shine):p :)

Yudansha,

All you did was write the word "evolution" in caps.
Now if you think that was giving me the a heads-up in the latest research... thanks for your kindness. I think I heard about it in school and also in college.

Evolution/ creation theories which was what I was referring to (not other branches of science or technology)...so far are still "theories"... Nothing of real significance has been discovered...unless you are excited about Lucy a.k.a the missing link.

Now allow me to ask... Where you trying to be condescending in your own sweet way? ;)

Julie,
Allow me to say that you should practice what you preach. In another post of yours you said that we all will face God. Well...I don't believe in God. I don't mind that you do, but speak for yourself. You will face your beliefs whatever those are. Saying that we "all" will...is like saying that my path is lesser than yours. Not all of us are Christians, and you cannot affirm what you are saying....it's only your belief.

Are you not aware that you are also squashing other people's beliefs? And if you really believe what you say, then you are also bullying others in a passive-agressive way.

And you can take that to the bank...( no two cents from me).

Jalu, Read what I put in the Earth age thread 4/27. I affirm what I believe with the Bible. I chose NOT to use MY translation there, because I knew this would happen. Matthew 7:6 Share Gods word(the bible) with people who do not want to hear it, they will turn and attack you. Jalu, I try to practice what I preach. I am not perfect. I sometimes fail, I'm human. I was speaking for myself included in my post. I have made my choice and you have made yours concerning this topic. I will still listen to what other people believe, but I have the right to respectfully disagree if I choose. If you choose not to believe the Bible that is between you and "your god"or whatever you believe. I would like to be able to be friends even if we do not share the same beliefs.:) Am I squashing and bullying if I read from the Bible, a book God said is his word? I am beginning to think ANY belief is welcome here as long as you do not mention God or Bible. If I can not share from the Bible like others share their beliefs here, then I guess I am not welcomed here. Maybe I should just be a Seagal fan without conversing with other fans. Just say the word and I am gone. The ball is in your court! I will not stay where I am not welcomed. Sincerely, Julie :(
